Many thanks to those who attended the Ping Pong Open House Exhibition last June 26, 2021 at the Rosemeade Rec Center in Carrollton, Texas. It was a successful activity with over 25 people in attendance.
U.S. National Table Tennis Coach and former U.S. Paralympic National Table Tennis Coach Daniel Rutenberg with Pong on Wheels showcased some of the fundamentals of the sport of table tennis alongside with training partner and student Brandon Chow.

We had a very diverse group of players, with different skill levels, ages, gender and abilities. This free activity also allowed us to promote the newly designed ping pong class, which is part of the new ping pong programs offered in a combined effort with the City of Carrollton.
Every Tuesday, starting on July 6th, at the Rosemeade Rec Center, Pong on Wheels will be providing a ping pong class to seniors, youth, adults, including a track as an adaptive sport. Reserve your spot today!
“I was very impressed to see so many people in attendance and how everyone participated in all activities," said Coach Daniel.
All the participants had an opportunity to put in practice some of the knowledge learned and techniques shown . In addition, everyone engaged and played with both Coach Daniel and training partner Brandon.
Also, we wanted to thank Grant Bergmann for taking some of the pictures of the event. Also, many thanks to the volunteers that helped with the event, we couldn't do it without you!
Door prizes were awarded to everyone! However, the main door prize, a brand new JOOLA Carbon Pro Professional Racket and case, was awarded to Thomas a junior attendee. Congratulations!
