Pong On Wheels attended the 2022 U.S. National Table Tennis Championships

From July 2- 7, 2022 Pong On Wheels attended the U.S. National Table Tennis Championships in Fort Worth, Texas at the Convention Center.

This is the annual U.S. National title organized by USA Table Tennis (USATT) the governing body of the sport. Events included singles, doubles among men and women, as well as mixed doubles. In addition, many other events were also run.

I attended the tournament as a Coach. Several of our Pong On Wheels students participated in the tournament with many different goals to include: participation in the tournament, gaining more experience in the rating events, and measuring how they perform against the best table tennis players in the nation.

It was great to see that some of the players reached their goals, even won medals in their respective events. Others gained lots of experience and also gave us a great framework to back to training to enhance their games.

U.S. Nationals and U.S. Open are always some of my favorite large tournaments, as I get to see so many of my friends, coaches, players and vendors and be able to catch up with latest trends and activities.

The U.S. Open will be played in December in Ontario, California.
