Today, Saturday December 27, 2025 Pong On Wheels FREE Ping Pong Open House and Clinic was a fantastic celebration of community, exercise, and shared enthusiasm for the sport of Table Tennis!
Over 40 players of all ages, abilities, and skills stopped by to rally, learn, share, and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere centered around fun and friendly competition.
From first timers players to experienced athletes, everyone found a place at the table.
Throughout the event, the open-play format encouraged casual matches, skill-building, and spontaneous teaching moments clinic style, making it easy for participants to jump in and connect with others. Laughter, fast rallies, and supportive cheers filled the room as players exchanged points, and enjoyed the simple joy of play. The open house also gave newcomers a chance to explore the space, ask questions, and see firsthand how accessible and social ping pong can be.
One player perfectly summed up the spirit of the day, saying, “I came in just to check it out and ended up playing for hours—this was way more fun than I expected! I just need practice” Moments like these capture exactly what today’s Open Play & Clinic was all about: connection, joy, and the simple thrill of the game.
Adding to the excitement, door prizes were awarded through a fun ping pong–themed trivia activity, giving participants a chance to test their table tennis knowledge while cheering each other on. The trivia brought extra energy to the room and sparked plenty of smiles, friendly banter, and surprise wins throughout the event.
Reflecting on the day, Daniel Rutenberg with Pong ON Wheels shared, “Our goal was to create a space where everyone felt comfortable playing in and having fun, and today really delivered. Seeing players connect, laugh, and enjoy the game is what this FREE Clinic and Open Play is all about.”
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make today’s FREE Open House, Open Play, and Clinic such a success. We look forward to welcoming you back to the table for more open play, learning, and community-building events soon!
