🏓 Open Play Rules: Challenge System
1. General Play & Availability
Play is permitted at any open table.
Good Sportsmanship and Respect are expected and highly valued within our community.
2. How to Challenge a Table
If all tables are occupied, you must formally challenge a table.
To Challenge: Place your paddle under the table or alert the players currently using the table.
Crucial Rule: If you decide to play at another table, you may not keep your challenge in place if another player is waiting. Fairness first!
3. Match Play
When your table is successfully challenged, you have 2 minutes of warm-up before starting the match.
All matches are the best out of five 11-point games.
4. Practice/Training Limit
If you and your partner wish to practice instead of playing a match, you have 15 minutes to train. After 15 minutes, one or both players must leave the table for a new challenger.
5. Extended Play
If there are no challengers for your table, you are welcome to play as long as you want for the evening. Keep the action going!
