2025 Table Tennis Spring League Finals Recap: Meet the New Champions

The concluding week of the Spring Ping Pong league, held today, Saturday, April 26, 2025, was filled with excitement and great matches across all divisions. Over 30 players participated in the singles competition over a span of 6 weeks in the Seniors, Adults, and Youth Divisions.
Here is a summary of the final matches and highlights of the finals. Let's get started!
Seniors Division:
For the finals in the Seniors Open Division, players played in a double elimination format to decide the champion of the Ping Pong League. All players showcased their exceptional skills, delivering powerful shots and impressive defensive & offensive moves.
In the Seniors Open Division, Lance Rosemore ultimately claimed the top spot as the GOAT. Bill Witten secured 2nd place, Hui Chi (Rick) finished in 3rd, and Mark Rooks took the 4th position.
In Division B, Randy Moon secured 1st place, Paul Baker came in 2nd, John Wood took 3rd, and Forrest Michals finished in 4th place.
Adults Division:
In the Adults Open Division, there were 2 groups. Ley Mech emerged as the league champion in the Adults Open Division, with Nick Gao coming in 2nd, Jonathan Kim in 3rd, and Manasi Nimkar in 4th place.
Division B saw Henry Castillo take the top spot, with Sajan Dhakal coming in 2nd. Reena Dusad secured 3rd place, while AJ Ramos claimed 4th place.
Youth Division:
In the Youth Open Division, Darwin Mech claimed the top position finishing 1st, with Sreekar Mali taking 2nd place, Tejas Vasanth securing 3rd place, and Karthik Govula finishing in 4th place.
Most Improved Player: Randy Moon
All players demonstrated significant improvement week after week as the result of their participation in the league.
After observing all the matches and players during the 6-week league competition, Pong On Wheels decided to award Randy the title of "Most Improved Player - M.I.P." for the 2025 Spring Ping Pong League. This special recognition emphasized Randy as the most outstanding and improved player among all the participants. Congratulations, Randy!
"The Pong On Wheels ping pong league in North Texas welcomes players of all ages and skill levels, providing an enjoyable, fun, and competitive environment. It has become extremely popular, with players showing significant improvement after six weeks of competition. The outstanding sportsmanship and camaraderie in the recent 2025 Spring Ping Pong League were remarkable," noted Daniel Rutenberg of Pong On Wheels.
This was a friendly, recreational, non-sanctioned table tennis event, where all ages, abilities and skilled players were welcomed to participate!
